flower house was a three-day large-scale botanical installation in a foreclosed, blighted home in hamtramck, michigan, created by a team of 37 designers and over 100 volunteers. more about the collaborative project here.
the flower house instagram is now a platform for the work and visions of Black floral designers and Black plant people, cross-pollinating a healthier ecosystem than the isolated one in which flower house existed. for more about this initiative and to suggest a post, head to this page.
